Ewan stared at the floor for a second. He wasn't sure why he volunteered that information about his mother. I guess...she'd caught him off guard with her story about her parents. Ewan felt as though he had to tell the girl his story. Even if it was to make her understand that he sort of knew what she was going through I guess. Looking up at the second year girl, he disregarded her reply about Zita.
"Hey, do you two want to come and help me pick some sweets? I don't mind sharing! As long as there's something sour or full of chocolate!" he grinned. He loved sour sweets and chocolate. Ooooo melted chocolate! His favourite!
All the sweets were calling to her and, at his suggestion, she realized she was more than ready to start picking out candy.
"I'd love to start picking out candy to take to Hogwarts with me. Chocolate is my top priority, but I should grab a few hard candies that I will be able to carry in my pocket." She loved chocolate most of all. Especially dark chocolate.
"What is your favorite? Plain, filled, coated?" She glanced around the shop and spotted the fudge display.
"Oh, there's the fudge. I love fudge. The dark chocolate, maple, and chocolate dragon are my favorites. I'll need to pick just one this time, or I won't have enough for anything else."
