Chase raised his right eyebrow ever so slightly and subtly (perhaps by half a centimeter) at the girl's comment of being the OLDEST first year ever. "Well perhaps technically you are but the oldest first year to me could mean an older transfer student. For instance, say a fifth year transfers from Durmstrang. Then they would be a first year in their sixth year," he began before pausing. "Are you following me?" Or had he just lost her?

Chase pursed his lips at the comment as he tried to formulate a thought from the random string of words that appeared in his mind. "I don't know..." He paused. "I don't think I'm following you exactly... Were you asking me to choose a literary name that I'd like to be called?"
