"I'm muggle born too. Did I already say that? I sometimes forget when I get excited. Anyway, I had no idea about any of this before I received my letter last summer. It was quite a shock." She hoped he would feel more comfortable knowing he wasn't the only one to feel so out of sorts around all the magical folks.

Just as she was about to go on, she noticed the younger girl approach and stand near them. After Ewan asked her if she was okay, Emmalyn offered "Would you like to join us? We are chatting about brooms and quidditch, and what's it's like coming here the first time being a muggleborn." She motioned the girl to come closer. "I need some candy suggestions too. I want to stock up for Hogwarts."

Grinning, Ewan replied "That sounds amazing! I can't wait for my flying lessons. I mean, there's just nothing like this where i'm from". Ewan could feel an ease come over him. He liked talking to Emmalyn. There was something easy about this conversation.

"I'm a muggleborn. I had no idea about... well.. any of this. It's been me and my dad for so long. I mean... weird things have always happened" he chuckled, thinking back to the time he vanished when he was being chased by the school bully.

"Hey, I was wondering. Which Howarts house did you say you were in? I have no idea what house i'll be in" Ewan confessed. "I've heard different things about all of the houses.. so.. I really have no idea where I'll be. Maybe". Ewan whispered more softly... "Maybe they'll just send me home" , a faint shade of fear across his face. He didn't know how the two girls infront of him would react.
