Finding a table off to the side that was empty she sat down to enjoy her cold tasty treat.

Nerissa also had a chocolate frog ice cream in a cup after she saw what seemed to be an older girl asking for it at the counter. She had gone there after sorting some books out with Maria since she knew her not-really-stepmother would pack all of her school books etc. for her, so she didn't have to worry. And it was summer time! Summer time meant ice cream time! And this little redhead girl also knew that it was this time of year that a load of Hogwarts kids turned up to buy their school supplies too. Maybe she could make a friend!? Her first school friend!!

The 11 year-old targeted this older kid, determined to get to know her now. "Hi!" She said after ~~stalking~~ following said girl outside and standing next to the table the other ginger girl had taken. "May I sit with you?"
