Both literally as an escape from the summer temperatures outside and the lovely deliciousness of ice cream. Septimus had needed a break and stepped inside, ordering a cone of orange creamsicle ice cream when he was up in the queue before venturing off to possibly find a perch for a few minutes. His dark gaze flittered around the parlour looking for any familiar faces, making the mistake to walk as he did so and stumbling over his own feet. A look of surprise caused his face as he moved quickly to recover, the ice cream in his hand jostled and nearly leaving his grasp.

He let out a sigh of relief when he hadn’t and was finally standing back more secure in his footing. Only then did he catch sight of the girl sitting in a booth right there who might have become more familiar with his ice cream had he not been so lucky. “That was close…” he mused aloud.
