Addison lifted her cup of coffee closer to her face inhaling the wonderful aroma. Mmm. Nothing was better than a cup of hot coffee to get her through a department meeting. After several moments of simple inhaling the scent she finally took a long sip.
Oh, dear. It seemed as if Adam was still having trouble seeing where he was going. Poor man. She was about to get up and assist him in finding a sit but he had managed on his own sitting beside her. "Hello there...." she smiled warmly. There was a very long pause before she continued to greet the man, "Adam." What was this? Perfume? Well that was surprising as she thought the scent was very mild. "Itismychildrengotitforme." It had been part of her present over the holidays.
Before she could say anything else Airey began the meeting and her blue eyes drifted over towards him as he spoke. "Right here." Addison had made sure to check everything in her chamber making a detailed list of what was needed now. She passed the parchment down to Airey for him to look over. As she was passing the parchment over her arm brushed against the table. It didn't fell smooth like normal.
"Hmm?" she asked rubbing her fingers over the table again to feel the graininess of it. This was odd.
