Quickly pinning the the front of the leg to the back of the leg he decided doing the zipper now would be smarter than trying to do it last.

Grabbing the zipper he had picked out he pinned it to the fabric and began to stitch it together. It was amazing just how quickly he had all of the steps together and making something he could wear. The fronts and backs were together and the yolk of the waistband was now attached to the fabric. He was getting close, only needed to finish the hem. After a few more stitches he finally looked up and observed those who were in the room. He blinked a few times noticing Skylar. He figured he could ask her what she was making to take a small break before he finally started his shirt to go with his pants.

“Hey Skylar, what are you making?”
he noticed she was measuring a lot. But then again he had measured a lot to.
In her haste, Skylar realized she forgot to grab a mannequin, which meant she'd been measuring blindly and going off what might fit her. Which wasn't exactly meant to be the case. Setting aside her skirt fabric momentarily, she went up to select one of the mannequins and returned to her seating area.

When she heard someone address her. One of her reserve players. Smiling over at him, "Hey Patrick. Just designing an outfit for a funeral." The other ones gave her too many feels and she wasn't about to deal with right now. Also, she probably shouldn't mention her earlier thoughts to him. "What about you?"

Eyes back on the mannequin, and Skylar wrapped the black fabric around its would-be waist, pinning it carefully. And then slid it off. Folding it inside out, she stitched the two ends together. And then right outside out again, where the stitch was barely visible. But it was in need of just one thing... It would be difficult to take on and off, so carefully, she ripped the seam just a bit at the top and sewed a small bit extra with a button in the back. Perfect. Skirt done, which she lined up on her mannequin just right. Now time for the shirt and the leggings.
