Sniff…
He smelt cinnamon. Cinnamon and….coffee?
Adam attempted to shuffle forward, but -
Gidwyn leaned backward sharply, a little taken aback by the sudden movement of Adam's head and the loud sniffing. Was he after his Cinnamon bun? Well, he'd have to pry it from his cold, dead hands. There was no way he was giving up this beauty. Luckily, it didn't come down to fisticuffs that day, as Adam seemed to quickly lose interest.
The man clearly struggled with his eyesight, if he indeed had any left at all, but his hearing was fine, surely? He hadn't answered Gidwyn's question, so one must assume he wasn't interested in discussing his well being. In all honesty, Gidwyn was nervous about asking again, in case he got a cane to the forehead or something. Wouldn't want to start his career at the British Ministry with something like that!
