A lot of adults would say it was never too early think about what career to pursue in the future. But now that he was a first year, Drewett felt that knowing which jobs were interesting was somehow a good idea. At least he would know which jobs would suit him when he was of age, which was still years from now. Aside from that, his curiosity got the best of him as he found himself wandering into the Great Hall.
The first booth that really captured his eye was the Aurors one, and honestly, it was a bad time for him to remember his mum and dad. So yes, he was going to avoid that booth. It brought some rather painful memories. Drew walked around for a bit, paying attention to the various items in display. Eventually, he went towards the booth where two lady healers were stationed. It felt... better here, as it could hopefully help him avoid the number of students flocking the Aurors booth. "G-good day, ma'am... ma'am," he said, offering both women a shy but genuine smile.
Drew pulled a pamphlet towards him and took a moment to read. He figured maybe it would be helpful to at least know how to treat certain injuries, right? It was practical. "I-I have.... s-some questions...." the eleven year old said, carefully folding the paper and tucking it inside his jacket's pocket for further reading some time later. "D-do healers have s-specializations? A-and... I... I was c-curious... if yes, w-what are some of t-them?" he asked, trying his best not to stutter, but it always happens. It was rather disappointing. But nevertheless, he was too curious to have time to blame himself.
