For an Aussie, Gidwyn had always been rather fond of snow and the cold in general. When he'd heard that his new job at the British Ministry of Magic was going to start with a skiing trip, he was even more excited about it than he already was. What a fantastic idea! Completely ridiculous, but fantastic!

Returning indoors from the cold, he breathed a sigh of relief as the warmth rushed through his cheeks. That's when he smelled it. Cinnamon buns? Merlin's beard, it's like they read his mind. Did they? Naaah.. In any case, before the minute had passed, he was already munching on a bun and slurping on a cup of hot cocoa. He gave polite nods and smiles to everyone within the immediate area, but focused mainly on his delicious treat. Which is perhaps why he was so startled when the chair in front of him got smacked by something and made an uncomfortably loud noise.

He darted his gaze towards Adam and raised an eyebrow. "You alright, mate?" he begrudgingly decided to postpone the next bite of his bun to allow for the chance that he might have to have a conversation within the next few moments.
