| A Poop * k8 * SPOILER!!: Griffin, Natalie, and Albert Quote:

He didn't feel like using his wand to get him places if he could help it.
He made his way to the seating area where he noticed someone,
"Hello" giving a sort of wave not sure if she was a department head or just an employee. He had met his department head when he interned so he did know who he was, but anyone else he was very sure he had no clue.
Though he did hope to run into Olly. Quote:

After checking in, Natalie decided to see who was already there. She saw someone from her own department. She realised it was the Department Head. Well, she did have a certain air about her. She then saw a man. "Hello there. My name's Natalie Mills," she said with a smile to them both. Quote:

It was too bad he couldn't bring a plus one, although he wasn't sure if Antheia was going to like it. She mostly enjoys spring and summer...which was soon. After he settled his luggage in his room, Albert made his way down to the lounge dressed in his well fitted, and most likely ridiculously expensive snow gear.
Holding up a list of activities for this retreat, the man managed to tick off most of it, seeing that it wasn't that friendly for ancient people like him. Ski race? Ski range? No. He's not meant to do those. Hot Chocolate Bar? Not that great for people like him who needs to watch out their sugar intake. And the Sauna? That earned the list an exasperated sigh, and both of his eyebrows raised. No. Not really in the mood to mingle with possibly half-naked ministry co-workers. He didn't want to be scarred early on in the year, thank you very much.
So...what should he do today then? A cup of hot tea would be nice...and perhaps a good book? Albert took a chance to look around and saw a familiar face, and two younger employees whom he hasn't seen before. Perhaps they are new? Once he caught their attention, Albert was forced to greet them. "Good day, all of you." And that was that. No conversation starter or anything. Just a short...and hopefully polite acknowledgement of their presence.
Now, yes. Tea and biscuits sound lovely right now.
It wasn't long before someone joined them, and it was quite a few people who all arrived at once. A younger looking man, who told Lynley hello very politely. She didn't smile, but she gave him a pleasant sort of look as she nodded in his direction. "Are you new here?" she asked him [Griffin]. He looked new. His face looked new.
But the next face, she knew, not because she was new...she was old, but she was new to Transportation. "Hello, Natalie. It's nice to see you," she smiled softly. "I'm so happy to have you in my department, you know. You seem fairly competent." And that was much of what Lynley wanted from an employee.
Lynley waved at others as they came in, keeping her eyes particularly peeled for any of her own employees. Another man joined their little area, and Lynley thought they must look like quite the crew right now. An older man, herself, a younger bloke, and then...Natalie. "Hello. I'm Lynley Purcell for those of you who don't know...department head for Magical Transportation." She fiddled with her hat on her head and shifted position from one leaning her weight on one leg to the other.
