Logan squealed nervously as she waited in line for the ski-lift…it was strangely quiet at the lift - maybe people were too busy drinking hot chocolate and eating warm winter snacks or checking out that sauna? But still, she wanted to be here, to see the views. The mountains reminded her of childhood, of her teen years…of Marus and Altair and everyone she had known at Durmstrang.

It was strange really, being at a ski retreat that seemed to glow in the light of day. She had gone on some of those night time ski trips with durmstrang but those were different. They had always ended with someone crying, another person with a broken nose or…or shin, and usually Mar had been somewhat involved.

She missed that girl.
