9:45 wasn't that early. No. The problem with having a class that started at that time was food. Emmalyn's breakfast never seemed to hold her over until lunch, and 10:00 was the perfect time for second breakfast. Thankfully, she knew that the fabulous Professor Grimsbane would have some sort of treat for them.

Once the doors popped open, Emmalyn made a quick dash to the hot chocolate and filled her cup as full as it would go without spilling over. No need for toppings, those would just take up room in her cup where the chocolate deliciousness ought to be. She inhaled the creamy sweetness, eyes closed to better experience the aroma, then made her way to one of the front row desks. The front area was a bit squished, she assumed because of the big oak table, and she was one of the smaller students. She was happy to take one for the team and fill a tiny spaced seat. Plus, she enjoyed being up front. "Good morning, Professor Grimsbane. It's a beautifully dreary day, isn't it?" The blue lights danced off her light skin and almost gave her a ghostly look.

She placed her parchment and quill on her desk and her books under to save room. It was a bit early for class to start, so she spent her time pondering what could be on the new table.
