Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

So long as it was big enough. Huh. That was something for her to look into. Jessa made a small jotting to the side of her parchment, interested enough to have a look at this from her own angle once she was out of this lesson.

Size. "Is that in relation to the subject's head? Or is there a generally agreed upon size?" Things to be considered before she made her start. Of course, she could always try to figure this out herself but felt she could save herself a few casualties by asking the simple questions from the start.

As instructed, she moved over to the plant and plucked herself both a large and a small flower. The idea of crushing them with her hand didn't appeal to her--until the man said the flower was poisonous.

Huh.

How potent?

The Ravenclaw re-holstered the wand she'd drawn to do the crushing, now willing to do it the way he'd suggested. The first since the lesson started. With her fingers, she was sure to crush only enough to get the juices flowing, then with the poison free hand, she drew her wand to get it chopped.

Into the cauldron they went, followed shortly after by the metal spoon she used to stir. Counter-clockwise. Check. Colour darkening. Check. Before she knew it, the solution was now a dark purple as instructed at which point, the Ravenclaw leaned against her desk once more, eyes locked on her hand. For now, she was just waiting. Testing the poison. How long it would take to react to human skin, the sort of reaction it would have. You know. Typical stuff.
