Accio and Stupefy were spells she had read about, and Night was a quick learner. But why did the bulbs have to bounce in the first place? Sometimes Night thought she should have been a Ravenclaw, with her reading and her racing mind and her ability to pick things up quickly.

"Accio," she muttered at one of the bulbs, but she must have said the spell wrong, because the bulb came zooming at her and exploded in her face.

Were people staring? "I'm fine," she called, hoping someone would notice and come help her, or at least show her the right way to do the spell.
