Was she thankful that Noble was talking them through the steps so it was easier for Abey to follow? Yes. Was she still taking thorough notes? Yes. Would she continue working through the steps slowly in case her cousin needed help? Yes. She had a plan and she was sticking to it. She did chance a glance over at Sam to see how he was doing as a reward for all her hard work. He was very handsome, her boyfriend was. She allowed herself a moment of appreciating his face before she finished adding the newest steps to her notes and turning her attention to her instruments. Those would need cleaning before anything else.

Dried moths made Junia a bit sad. Something about a flying creature ending up so still and lifeless didn't sit well with her and she hastily added three to her mortar and began grinding them down so that before she knew it, they no longer looked like moths at all. It was easier to handle the task that way. She kept at it until her hand hurt, making sure the powder was up to par, and then set the pestle down and clenched and unclenched her hand, trying to get it to feel less cramped.

After cleaning off her hands and making some space for her cutting board, knife, peeler, and scales, the sixth year got up to grab herself a bouncing bulb. Had Professor Myers provided these, she wondered? The bouncing bulb moved in her grasp and she decided that yes, he must have, as she returned to her seat. Offering Abey a smile, she set it down and trained her wand on it. "Stupefy!" She quite liked that spell and it had done the trick, the bouncing bulb having gone motionless, seemingly surrendering to its fate.

The peeling and cutting took more time than expected, but Junia was a perfectionist and she followed the professor's instructors carefully, using the tips he'd given them for chopping. There was also the fact that she was taking time to check on her cousin every now and then to see how he was progressing. Finally she finished and went about weighing the bulb, and then her job was done for the moment. If anyone needed her assistance, now was the time to ask.
