She hadn't gotten much beyond step three yet, but fair was fair, and there was no better way to repay her fellow badger than to reciprocate by helping with something she needed.
While still keeping her hand up in the air, Emmalyn graciously took the band-aid from Night, unwrapped it, and placed it on her finger without taking a look.
"I really don't like blood. Even if it's just a tiny bit." She shook her head as she spoke. "Thanks for the band-aid. I should keep some in my bag."
Emmalyn slid her mostly chopped bulb over for Night to finish. It was probably best she didn't pick up the knife again.
"I'm happy to start grinding your moths while you chop." She reached over and started grinding away. That was the part that took forever and she didn't need to worry about chopping off any body parts while doing it.
