So much information!

Shera immediately began scribbling down the name of the potion, followed by what it did (also, why was there a potion to turn your head into a pumpkin?) and then the first three steps that were already on the board. Once she had taken down all the notes that she could so far, she let herself take a deep breath. Now she just had to start on the steps...

Diffindo.

It should be a relative straight forward step. She had seen her parents do it often around halloween, and her father had even let her use his wand to help out last year so she knew that she could do that! It was her first time using her own wand for this though! Which was actually very exciting... the other spell was what was concerning her. She hadn't used it before but... that was something she could worry about later. Besides, the professor said older students or he himself would help, so it should be fine.

Pulling out her wand she tried to keep her hands steady as she thought about what she was about to do.

"Diffindo," she said clearly before very slowly moving her wand in a circle around the top. She breathed a sigh of relief when she lifted the top off, and it came off properly like it was meant to. Then she lay it to the side.
