| Hi, Stefan! *and everyone else* Zombie Apocalypse Team Leader ★ ★ in a crown of pepperoni and artisan cheese Let it just be known that Olivia Phillips was HIGHLY PRESSED that River Reed was no longer teaching at Hogwarts. To express this displeasure, the blonde wore a severe expression; an air of dramatic haughtiness to her steps as she entered the drafty....bright? potions lab. How very dare the man leave when she was unable to say goodbye?
Hmph. Where. Was. Jace?
Scanning the unusually bright room, Liv caught sight of him almost immediately. He was situated at the back, and she was relieved that joining him wouldn't require too much moving about. Not that she wanted to harass him about his uncle, but.... Well, maybe she did want to harass him a little. Her relationship with the Reed men was an interesting one. Quote:

Upon hearing the professor, Jace closed his Alchemy book with a snap and hurried along inside the classroom with the rest of the students. "Goodmorning, Professor." he had to be honest, however, that he's pretty excited to learn from someone who breathes sternness, compared to his uncle. Last term, he'd been really awkward with the setup.
After dumping all of his stuff in one of the back workstations (because as of the moment, he didn't want to deal with an explosive Matt Solo, thank you very much), he carefully selected his pumpkin and levitated it back to his seat with ease.
Pumpkin, hm? Is it going to be their new lab rat? Stopping to select a random pumpkin from the pile (because they were all more of the same, right?), Olivia proceeded to Jace's workstation. Before he could say anything against it, she parked her things, seating herself as if she owned the very workstation. As was her way. "You don't mind if I sit here, do you?" Cue the innocent look.
Oh....also. "Professor, I approve of the orbs. This place needed a bit of illumination." Mhm. She would admit, if asked, that the necessity of copper cauldrons was highly intriguing.
