Liam, having been hyper-focused on his sketch, hadn't noticed anything else about his surroundings until someone spoke to him. He looked up toward the voice, a small smile twitching at the corner of his lips when he recognized an older girl from his house. "It just sort of happened recently," he answered easily. He glanced down at the drawing, more realistic than the stuff he typically did. "I'm still learning how to do it, though. So I'm not very good." Although Cam had been impressed when he saw but... best friends were supposed to be impressed about things, so that was different.
"Do you draw?" He asked, lifting his gaze back to Junia.
"Practice helps." Though not everyone was destined to be an artist. Junia was of the mind that if you enjoyed something, you should do it for you, skillfully or not.
Moving closer, the sixth year chanced a glance at his depiction of the willow. It was an ambitious choice, considering the unpredictability of the model. At any moment the tree could twist, shake, and lash out visciously as it was known to do. Perhaps the challenge of it was what made it so appealing.
"I used to. When I was small I'd draw pictures for my family and give them as gifts. I'd pick something they liked and go from there. They seemed to appreciate it." Or perhaps they were just humoring her. It wasn't until recently that she questioned such things, but maybe that was a part of growing up.
"What made you want to start?" She moved onto the ground beside him, stretching out her legs.
