Emmalyn leaned in a bit closer to hear June over the roar of the room. She hadn't realized how loud the Great Hall had become in such a short time. "It's a pleasure to meet you, June." She smiled back and noticed Night moving closer.

Giving Night a moment to introduce herself to June, Emmalyn reached back and redid her ponytail. It had started coming loose when she put the Sorting Hat on and she hadn't bothered to fix it. It was getting so loose that hair was starting to fall over her face and it was tickling her cheeks.

She listened intently as June told about her family, wondering how great it must have been to grow up with magical parents. "So, both of your parents are magical?" Was that the word she was looking for? "A witch and wizard for parents? Do you have any brothers or sisters?"
