Hanna walked up towards the Measuring Area, using a VERY discrete hand motion to let her mother knew she could stay over there by the door. She didn't need her mum to come and be with her ALL the time. Well, except for her help with the money. Hanna couldn't pay for all of her Hogwarts stuff with her pocket money.

Elyde rolled her eyes in an amused way and watched her daughter.

The Measuring tape came and, as she had been told by her family, measured her. First her height, and then - after hinting at her to expand her arms, the width of her arm span. And then once she relaxed, it measured all of the little bits and pieces; her hair length, wrists, elbow to index finger, around her knees, her foot length etc. Hanna tried to stay still and appear mature, because she wanted to be treated like an older child, so she bit her tongue to keep the giggles inside when it measured from her under-arm to elbow.
