It's one of the most amazing and exciting things in the world," that was literally as far as her brain was working. "Besides, our flying classes will be supervised by a professor. They wouldn't let anything bad happen to you."
The last one was an assumption and hope. At very least if he was injured, he'd receive immediate medical attention.
Head tilted to the side as she through, she slowly shook her head. "Maybe not if I play against your house, but if it's the others then they shouldn't want to murder you? And anyways, murder would be an overreaction."
Daehyun had agreed anyway though, and Shera felt the overwhelming urge to hug him again which she stomped down immediately. The toothy grin she was giving probably said enough. The look on Shera's face when he'd told her he wanted to go out of his way to skip the flying lessons - not that he had any say in it, he probably didn't - was almost comical. He had to purse his lips to keep himself from smiling at the horrified look on her face, before sobering up. "I know you're right-" Of course she was. He did enjoy watching other people fly, and it did seem like an amazing feeling... just not when he was flying into trees. "I might just take you up on that offer, if you still want to help me out." He needed to overcome his fear sooner or later, didn't he?
Daehyun nodded. "I'll learn how to charm my pom-poms in the colours of your future House," he vowed, barely keeping the face-splitting grin at bay. He could do face paint too, but he had a feeling he would lose their friendship if he went overboard with the cheering. "Though it would be nice if we were sorted into the same House." Not just for cheering purposes. |
