Film wasn't really a subject offered at the magical universities as far as his knowledge went, but Az didn't know that he wasn't pursuing a career within the world of magic.

"Congratulations!" he grinned at her getting a place in the orchestra, even if he was slightly disappointed she dropped out. She would have gotten amazing scores, especially because she had always helped Jasper out when he didn't get things.

Married? Jasper tilted his head to the side in confusion. But... they were 17? Was that a normal thing?

Now he was wondering how he was going to get rid of his sister before she even came close. She didn't need ideas of marriage floating around in her head.

How did someone even get married that young? He'd never even thought of getting married before, like 24? 25? At some point when he had finished his degree and had a stable job and could support himself without help. Beyond that, his girlfriend had agreed with that sentiment. She did have to survive finding out he was a wizard first though.

"Huh."

And there goes the award for the lamest answer ever when someone told you they married. He immediately kicked himself back into functioning so that Az wouldn't think that he was judging her, or opposed to this sudden revelation.

"Sorry, I'm just surprised... I've just never thought of marriage. Congrats though," he finished with a smile.

Purple eyes widened a bit as he spoke about where he lived. “I know where that is, I have relatives who live there and when I lived in England, we lived close to that. ” Of course her family lived in France now and she herself hadn’t lived in England since her mother’s disappearance and subsequent reappearance.. But she knew where things were of course. Azura couldn’t believe he was going to be so close!

“Ohhh, That sounds super amazing.” She said as he spoke about what he was going to do. Somehow she wasn’t fully surprised about his choice of major, or that he was going to go to a muggle college, if seemed to fit him.

Part of her felt a sadness crowding in, one that comes with a bittersweet reunion of old friends ~~and first crushes~~, she had it with Jace a year and a half ago when he said he was going to live in Japan after he graduated and she had it now with Jazzy, they were all grown up, ~~and saving China~~ and moving away and getting on with their lives and it made the dark hair girl long for a simpler time.

“Ohh! So I’ll get to meet her then?” She asked him as she looked around before she seemed to have stunned her former best friend into absolute silence..Yeah, she got that reaction a lot, especially from muggles but wizards seemed to get married at an earlier age..

And.. she and Chris never did anything by halves, it was apparently all or nothing with them this time. Not to mention..

Azura needed this. She needed something that was permanent and stable, with everyone leaving her, and her being kidnapped, she couldn’t just wait around for the other shoe to drop. Even with them being married she was still scared of something happening, she was so easily abandoned it seemed. After all, it had taken Cornelius over a year to say he loved her and then he just left two months after that and never talked to her again?

Obviously something was wrong with her..

And she would take what happiness she could before it all fell down again..

“Thanks. ” She said simply as she looked up at him. “Chris and I got married. I’m Azura Jensen now.” She said with a soft smile. “We have a great apartment in Paris..” A happy little smile came over her face...
