Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Meticulously, Jessa began picking out the large pieces that remained after the smashing was done. These were thrown back into the bowl with the whole berries for the simple reason that some of her test subjects would appreciate them, whole or not. She tried to treat them as often as she could and berries were hardly available to the girl who seldom went searching the grounds for them.

The Ravenclaw glanced up at the instructions again, being sure she didn't miss a step in the process. Mixing the colours wouldn't be necessary for her. While she didn't have a design in mind, she knew she could get something done with the ones she already had.

Jessa got a bit of the flour between her thumb and forefinger then sprinkled it about as needed. After mixing it all in, it was time to get started. She went over and got herself some paper and brushes. Yeah, she could've used her fingers but today wasn't feeling like that sort of day for her. Paints were messy and while a simple scourgify would've fixed it after, it would still have been messy while it lasted.

No thanks on that one.

Tuning out those around her, the Fourth Year got to work. The colours themselves weren't right but she would be recreating her birds. The darkest shade she used to create branches, winter branches stripped of their leaves.

On them were her darlings. Nothing too sophisticated and fancy as she knew this sort of thing wasn't her forte, but she did put in some effort all the same. By the time she was done, you could reasonably deduce that these were birds and they were happy under her care--okay so maybe you couldn't see all that from just looking at the painting BUT it was still there in some subtle way. Just took a bit of extra knowledge.

When she was done, she set out to clean the area, might as well find something else to do while she waited for the others to be done and the lesson to be dismissed.

SPOILER!!: Steps
1. Collect the fruit in bowls
2. Mash the fruit with your hands
3. Pick out the larger chunks when done and throw on the ground
4. Use each juice as its own color OR mix to produce colors
5. Once you have the colors you want all juiced up, add a PINCH of flour to the juice (or turmeric/ginger for those yellow-y tones)
6. PAINT! Use your fingers of some of the brushes for this! There is paper provided! Remember that nightshade is toxic if ingested! Be careful!
