Jeremy didn't worry about things so seeing him worrying now wasn't something Sam liked one bit. "Mhmm," she hummed softly in thanks nuzzling her head into his shoulder with another sleepy yawn, eyes already closing once more. "Just ten minutes... that's all..." Enough to keep her going until it was time for bed. Ten minutes and then they could go and do whatever he wanted to do. Ten minutes and he could wake her up.
She was frowning at him but Jer couldn't care less. He kept his eyes fixed on her, feeling rather stern and protective. He listened to her proposition and remained silent for about a minute after as he considered it. "Alright then. You need to promise that you'll go.'' If she didn't want to make the trip now, he could hardly force her. What was he supposed to do? Bound and drag her to the Healer? Besides, maybe he really was overreacting. "Ten minutes,'' he repeated in agreement. Or maybe more than that. There was no way that he was going to wake Sam up even if his shoulder and arm fell asleep. While the twin napped, Jer stared mindlessly around the Common Room.
There wasn't much he could do right about then, after all. |
