Post #2 The Kisapaths | Sila!Roti | -2 | TouchableHair | ToiletPaperGuy | QueenOfConfusion Once returned to his seat with the two pieces of fabric, Cameron picked up his wand and practiced the wand movement a few times. Or wand movementS rather. They were similar but still different enough for him to have to practice them separately. At least they didn't appear to be too complicated. Neither was the incantation. "Suturis." He said, setting down his wand for a few moments. Yeah, no. Not too difficult.
Next step was putting the cut-out on top of the square and laying them both down onto the desk in front of him. Maybe he could do one side with the simple running stitch and the other with that...what was it called again? He briefly glanced at his notes. Ah, yes. Whip stitch.
Alright then.
Moving his wand in the correct way, Cameron started sewing. "Suturis." Did people really still sew clothes by hand? Or by wand anyway. That seemed like a tedious task nonetheless. "Suturis." Did that mean he could mend his clothes too now if they got ripped? Only somehow his stitches didn't really look nice enough for him to consider applying the spell to his own CLOTHES. Maybe they'd get better over time. With practice. "Suturis flagellum." Okay. What was a whip stitch supposed to look like again? Because THAT didn't look like it would hold the two fabrics together for too long. |
