Once class began, Professor Marchand wasted no time in throwing out the first question. What did everyone think the class would be doing today? Shay took a moment to survey her surroundings once more. Okay, they were outside on the Hogwarts grounds and it was a dark, starry night. What piece of history could this possibly relate to? Obviously it had something to do with Hogwarts, but what?

Shay was at a loss. The nighttime setting had to be significant. What important event had happened around here at night? Slowly Shay raised her hand. Willing to take a random stab at the answer. "Maybe we are learning about.......how ......Halloween was celebrated at Hogwarts long ago." As soon as the answer had left her lips, Shay knew it was lame. She had drawn a complete blank and just went with the first thing that came to her mind. Surly the real answer was better than that.
