Okay so the dark walls were definitely misleading because Skylar had to remind herself that she had just gotten up and had breakfast. That it wasn't nighttime. That they were inside.
Which brought her attention to the first question; what were they going to be studying? That was such a broad question and they didn't have very much in the way of clues, but something about what Cameron said about the history of when Hogwarts was built made Skylar think of something else. "On the subject of what Cameron said, perhaps, we can be studying Magical Architecture?"
