Now she had succeed the ensnarement charm, this time Ava was ready to practice it non-verbally. But probably it would be better if she tried it on a grassy area first. The Gryffindor then moved her position, found another place where there were more grass than her spot before. She took a deep breath, cleared her mind from any distracting things and focused on the ensnarement charm. Just like what Noelle had taught her about casting a charm in non-verbal way, the key is concentration and intent.

Okay, let's try casting the charm.

Ava thought about growing the vines out from the grassy area, then she made a clockwise circular motion with her wand over the area and flicked upwards. Unfortunately there was no vine growing out, sighs. Perhaps her intent was not enough to cast this charm non-verbally. She tried casting it again, this time her intent was going stronger in order to succeed the charm. Ava drew a circle in clockwise motion with her wand around the grass, then made an upward flick. This time... still not succeed.

Sighs.

But she hadn't given up. The third time she tried, Ava didn't think about anything but growing the vine out from the grass. Again she repeated the wand movement, put on her concentration and intent in 200% mode until there was a small vine growing out from the area. Oh, finally. She kept practicing it until the vine grew stronger to strangle the creatures or whatever they were going to do next.

But could the creature died from this vine strangle if they aim it on its neck? Hopefully not.
