There was still the thought that they technically only had enough for one potion now, but it took a back burner to actually getting back. Healer Reed had stressed punctuality in his rules and while this wasn't necessarily arriving, it was still being given a time limit and likely being expected to follow accordingly.
Just slightly winded, the young girl came to a stop at their work station, plopping the bag back on the table. "Made it with two minutes to spare. Not bad at all." Considering the wrong turn they'd taken earlier.
There was a noticeable pause as she turned to look at the man before facing her friend again. "D'you think we should ask him....?" Julie tossed back her plait, a look of determination now on her face. They'd managed it. The first hurdle was down and after that sprint she felt better. Marginally, which was enough. The rest she could fake. "I think we'd better." If they got it out of the way now- rather than going on like nothing was up- then they could nip this whole situation in the bud before it all escalated and they flunked.
Resolved, and certain Jessa would agree with her, Julie stepped forward, tugging off her gloves as she approached Reed. "Professor Reed?" She politely began, tucking the gloves into her back pocket with anxious fingers. "Jessa and I have a question before we move on. Were we supposed to get double of everything or are we meant to share our potion and the ingredients?" Julie paused, ever so briefly and then went on in her same polite, but determined tone. "You didn't specify in your instructions and we were confused."
Because in the end, this was his fault for his lack of thorough explanation, not theirs and he needed to realize that.
