"Well, at least there are personal assistants to make things easier." Not that she couldn't handle things on her own or anything, it just was a good point. Personal assistants got a lot of the more boring and menial things done while the Department Head kept things running smoothly. Of course the workers like her did a lot too; Lynley would be SO lost without her.
Nod. That was very true and at least they had some idea now of how things had been handled. "If anything like that ever happens here, we would just need some poltergeists. Maybe Hogwarts could send us Peeves." Because there wasn't enough teenage angst here to make their own; not when a lot of the employees here were past that age and not fresh from Hogwarts. "That's very true. How is Koen liking Hogwarts?" Gabby wondered if Addi's other children would be attending there as well, but knew that it was too soon to know and there was no real point in asking. Addison smiled. "That is very true. Without an assistant the work would be incredibly overwhelming at times." Even if the brunt of the work was on her that bit of help she received was enough to balance things out. "Now that's a thought. Could you imagine the sheer amount of chaos that would insure should we ever end up with Peeves or any poltergeist here?" Oh, my gosh she could see it now. All the accidents and mayhem that would take place. St Mungos would have a field day with them all showing up there for sure. The mention of her son made her smile. "Good. He hasn't had any complaints about it and he's doing well in his lessons." The boy was still very focused on music and dragons but that wasn't much of a big deal as of yet.
