Joy's nerves were finally beginning to calm down as she got used to the fact that Hogwarts was a wonderful, wonderful place, and that she would do just fine here. She hummed a quiet tune to herself as she strolled happily, almost skipping, across the grounds and found herself at the Great Lake.
Joy plunked herself down on an empty spot of land and watched the lake. She thought she could see quick flashes of creatures under the dark water. She twirled her wand through her curly hair as she observed the water dreamily.
She tilted her face up towards the sky, and her skin glowed under the warm golden rays of the sun. The weather was perfect today. A relaxed smile crossed her freckled face as she looked around to see if there was anyone else here. |
