A Poop * k8 *
Everyone tonight seemed to be in a decent mood, even Regina, which was a miracle in itself. He waved back at Camilla and had a momentary lapse of memory and forgot what subject she taught. Right. TRANSFIGURATION. Duh, Myers. Harald was his usual jolly self. Jolly wasn't the right word for it, but Paul would have to settle for it as a descriptor. He couldn't think of the perfect word because Haraldur was just that unique, wasn't he? "My summer was...I wouldn't say eventful, but it was fairly busy. Went by too quickly, granted I'm ready to come back." Milton said he was ready for Paul to come back, like, last night because Paul apparently DROVE HIM UP A WALL, but he'd be taking it shortly. "I had one student intern with me in my private greenhouses. Lucy Potts." Did he know her? She was a badger, a fifth year---" Wait, no. "Sixth year." Mhmm. "And then I let another student work for me and my husband's vineyard over the summer. Our slytherin prefect, Oliver." Paul smiled. Two of his favorites. Favorites weren't allowed, though, shush. "How about yours?"
Paul caught the wave Regina sent him and leaaaaaned over Haraldurs spot. "PSSSSST, Regina---" he said quietly, but loud enough to interrupt whatever she was doing. "I need to SPEAK with you--" ahem. "As soon as you can pencil me in," he winked.
Yes yes, hellllllo to you, Kalen. Paul nodded at the man. He remembered his name, finally, which was a feat. He sent a two-fingered wave at Laurel, too, and smiled. River was two seats over, now, and he was feeling much more himself this September evening, Healer Reed. He sent the man a cheerful wave.
STUDENTS WERE COMING. STUDENTS. WERE. COMING. YAS.
ahem. Kaysha got a wave (he was a waving machine tonight!), and laughed in Gaston's direction. "Oh---I am feeling FINE!" he yelled over to him, since Gaston had asked as Paul had walked by. Rosalyn looked so happy. Paul smiled. "Congratulations, my dear, on your wedding," he took her hand in both of his. "You look so happy and glowing. I am so happy for you and Gaston." He thought the Charms professor looked quite glowing himself, too. "I am excited to meet my new badgers, of course. I am MORE excited to hear about your summer. I'm sure it was much more exciting than mine." Weddings. Such happy times for the couple. And he couldn't help but wonder if kids were in their future...hmmmm.
