Gaston's comment got a laugh from Rosalyn. "That's exactly the same reason why I came here as well." And no, she wasn't too surprised that he would grow tired of working; she knew him very well by now. "Great minds think alike!" As she spoke, Rosalyn took out cups while the coffee was brewing. Already the staff room was smelling wonderful! Now she just needed the caffeine flowing though her veins.
Hearing a familiar voice, she turned to the door and smiled. It was her best friend. "You never are interrupting, Kay. I would love it if you would stay, but if not we can catch up later? Maybe have tea or coffee?" There was something going on with her friend, and it was really starting to be worrisome. Kay just wasn't her usual cheery self, and seeing as she was one of the most important people in Rosalyn's life, there was a lot of concern going on. "Hey, Laurel! Too bad we can't hang out now, but we can later if you want to." Looked like she and Kay had other things to discuss right now.
And there was Cami! Seemed like this place was hopping. "Hey! I am doing well. How about you? Would you like some coffee? I just put a pot on to brew." There was plenty to go around. |
