Picking up her mug of tea she took a long soothing sip of the still very hot liquid. "That is probably true but I don't think I can name even one person off the top of my head that honestly enjoys doing paperwork," the blonde laughed softly. Taking a small bite of her salad, chewing and swallowing, Addi thought about the question that her friend just asked. "Well I'm not opposed to it. I just hope my department can handle it. Most of them have no real experience in dealing with the teenagers." Hence why they ended up having that teen/child training session AND that didn't even go over all that well. "There's no doubt in my mind that it's going to be interesting to say the least." At least Addi was an optimist. That was nice in small doses. People who were all sunshine and puppy dogs every hour of the day were tedious and annoying and Gabby wanted to hit them. Fortunately her friend wasn't like that. "I hope so. I really do. Maybe Lynley will let me go home early." That was the dream. Then she could spend a bit more time with her girls. Not that she never saw them or anything, but they DID go to bed early because they were very young still.
Gabby joined in with the laughter. "Well, if there are, they are weirdos and I don't want to associate with them." Was she being serious about that? Yes and no. Honestly she was in agreement about them probably not even existing in the first place so it was a moot point. Nod as Addi went on to share her feelings on the whole intern thing. All and all, she wasn't that surprised by this. "I heard about the fiasco that happened at Hogwarts last term. Was it really as bad as people say?" As someone who didn't really enjoy gossip, she was taking this with more than just a grain of salt. "It's definitely going to be something. Here is to hoping that we don't get stuck with a lot of problems." As in the teenagers would do things as expected and not cause issues for Ministry workers. |
