Shay listened as Ava shared her summer plans. So she and Noelle would be working together. "That's sounds pretty awesome", she replied. "You'll have to tell me all about it when we get back to school." Shay was really pretty bummed that she wasn't able to stick around and have one of those Ministry internships. Alas, it was not to be. She was really going to miss her friends this summer.

When Ava asked about her plans, Shay answered her with a bit of mixed emotions. "I'm going home for the summer.". Even though she'd be working herself, she was sure that it wouldn't be as exciting as what Ava and Noelle would be doing. The next question, was easy to answer. "Here? Oh I love it here." Shay loved Hogwarts and all of the craziness that went along with it. "Of course I miss home and my family, but I've gotten used to life at Hogwarts. I'm kind of sorry that I didn't come here sooner."

Now, the table started to fill up as more and more Gryffindors made their appearance. Shay smiled when the first years arrived. They weren't ickles anymore. Anyone who survived a year at Hogwarts was definitely not an ickle. She gave waves to Stasya and Emmeline. They were so cute. Looking for more newcomers, Shay felt a bump. Turning around, she saw Zoryn making her way toward her friends. "Oh hello there", Shay said as the younger girl passed by.

Next came Tenacius with a large box that everyone seemed curious about. Shay chuckled at the prefect's greeting. Lionettes? That was a new one. "Hey there Mr. Prefect", Shay replied with a smile. The table was definitely starting to get crowded. Shay saw Olivia arrive and gave her a wave too. There was one Slytherin at the table (Jonas) and the sixth year threw a smile in his direction because........everyone was welcome. That included the Ilvermornies too. When the visiting student (Madelyn) asked if anyone minded her sitting, Shay responded, "Of course not". The more the merrier, in Shay's opinion.
