Zoryn was SO ready for food but NOT SO READY to leave Hogwarts for the summer quite yet. How come they couldn’t just stay???? It really wasn’t fair at all. The thought of which upset her, so instead she focused on those around her. And speaking of which, here was Emmeline. “Hi Emmeline!” The Gryffindor greeted the first year with LOTS of enthusiastic waves. “Yeah, it’s SUCH a bummer!!!” She nodded LOADS. “You’re officially not a baby firstie anymore!!!!” That much was kinda exciting. Zoryn would've sprinkled confetti at the girl if she had some on hand. It was always nice to not be the baby. Zoryn thought so anyways.
……. And speaking of babies… Jonas. Zoryn grooooooaned, quite audibly though she meant to only do so in he head. “Hi Jonas,” WHY DID HE ALWAYS FOLLOW HER AROUND??????? “I feel like you’re gonna sit even if I say no, so I guess you can.” Whatta life, man. Whatta life. “Jonas, this is… Everybody… Everybody, this is the kid I bit in Care of Magical Creatures last term.”
And now that they were all acquainted, Zoryn could finally focus on all the other people who were joining them. LIKE OMG PERFECT PREFECT TENACIOUS. HI!!!!! Zoryn flashed a HUGE smile his way. “What’s with the BOX?” Zoryn wanted to KNOW and it seemed like everyone else was curious too. People like Olivia, hi Olivia!
Ava, who Zoryn didn’t really know all too much, was asking her a question though… And it’d be super rude not to answer. And Zoryn was NEVER rude…. Not intentionally. Ahem. “I’ve been ready to be a teenager MY WHOLE LIFE!” She was very adamant about this.
And as for the Illvermornian. Mamma mia. “Only if you don’t cheerlead, we’ve got rules about that at the Gryffindor table,” Zoryn nodded VERY matter-of-factly. She definitely made that up, but the girl didn’t go to school here. How was she supposed to know?
