Only capable wizards could handle that creature, right? Oh, and hi Daisy! The Gryffindor was glad that she decided to join them. "Well... I hope he won't get bite." Ava had a big hope that he would find a way to face it because Levi Kenning was a smart wizard.
See? He succeed jelly-brain jinx and daydream charm which, she knew, that was sooo difficult to master those.
And as the Slytherin's girl mentioned about risking too much for a scholarship... Well, Ava hated to admit that but she agreed with that. "Yeah... But I hope they will reward them more than just a scholarship." Like... Scholarship + Lots and lots of galleons + Unconditional acceptance to the University that they wanted to.. or something like that? Seriously, those competitors faced way too much danger than an average 15-17 year-old students.
And transfiguring a rock to a dog seemed like a good idea. Quote:

She asked watching the stiff shrug as she sat down. Noelle was standing, sitting still was no small task when kids were risking their lives out there. The only thing that gave Noelle any confidence was she knew the professors in the stands wouldnt let anything happen to any of them. She believed in Hirsch.
"Were there any policies with this scholarship? Like how far and... if everything was... MERLIN! COME ON BRENT!" YES! He was now in the stands!! Pause from their conversation for just a moment with what was happening on the screen. ".... if everything was legal?" Emm's words still in her mind.
Noelle glanced at her wifey and smiled. It was good that they all had confidence in Levi Kenning. To be honest, he was probably one of the most capable and smartest people that Noelle knew. If anyone could win this thing.. it was him.
"Yes!" Noelle exclaimed when Levi cast the take root spell. Hopefully it would work on the runespoor. Her eyes glanced over to see how the Ilvermornies were doing. "What do you think about Kyle and Valerie?" she asked to noone in particular. Her green eyes back on the screen. She watched as Kyle enlarged grass... which didn't seem so smart to her.... until he cast the hardening spell. He was making a cage with the grass. Valerie was straightforward. Trying to suck the creature into the ground.
Take that runespoor! The good news was that Levi clearly knew her extremely well: Daisy did not, in fact, like any of this. Dogs were all wonderful but labradors were special, in her very biased opinion. But, if sacrificing that adorable dog was going to get Levi back in the stands and safe, she could just about deal with it. Possibly. The sight of him crawling in the mud really, really wasn't one she appreciated.
As for the possibility of him getting bitten by that clearly magically enhanced, probably venomous snake -- well, a scholarship was really not worth it.
That dog really was adorable, even if it seemed unable to attack the snake. "Eh." Was her initial reply to Noelle's question about her well being. It didn't matter how she was holding up, not while Levi was out there somewhere in Africa, in his words, in need of a nap. "I'm fine. Can't wait for this to be over, if I'm honest." The Slytherin didn't even bother lowering her voice in an attempt to keep the powers that be from hearing the resentment on her voice. They couldn't do anything, anyway.
Though the question about the legality of the tasks remained unaswered and Daisy simply glanced from the screens up to Noelle. She had no idea if it was legal or not but she had no doubt that "There were Ministry officials near them the whole time" would be part of the answer should that question ever be posed.
Eyes back to the screen --Levi got it, he said he got it, yes, end it-- Daisy nodded in agreement to Ava's words. A prize bigger than scholarship would definitely be appropriate given the extreme level of danger the competitors faced. And while they were at it. "It feels unfair that only one of them gets it. They all went through a lot." Dementors, murderous tree, tundra and frozen loved ones, a runespoor. Not that Daisy cared about what the other competitors went through, not really, or about the prize.
She cared that Brent was there in the stands and Levi was still -- "YES!" The snake had bared its fangs at the labrador but Levi's spell had worked. Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes. The Runespoor was rooted to the ground and the Ministry official was there and the door was opening. Standing up now, even if she didn't remember when that had happened, Daisy turned to the two Gryffindors and grinned brightly, relief etched on her face. "He did it!" Which meant he was coming. Bending down for a second, she picked up the milkshake she had set on the empty chair next to her.
Actually, what was going to happen to that fake dog now?
