Noelle + Ava ^_^ Mrs. Alex Turner *asterisks user* Secret Door Of all the people saying hello, the only one who had been noticed had been Mr. B and, even then, only because he had actually stopped and touched her shoulder. Everyone else was a blur and, though she was mildly aware that the stands were more popular than they had been during the recent challenges, none of it registered with her. If anyone brought it up, she would argue she had an excuse. The previous challenges hadn’t exactly been characterised by lack of danger and general boredness.
And though this one had started slowly enough, it was slowly catching up with its predecessors.
He had faced a Dementor and survived, as he was so fond of remembering her. Only he usually said that in the relative safety of the castle (it was still Hogwarts, after all), not in the middle of an African forest while being attacked by a three headed snake. The hands around the golden pendant were so tight they turned as white as a sheet and, unable to keep her eyes on the screen as the heads seemingly argued amongst themselves, Daisy looked around the stands, completely disinterested in the other competitors. Althea was there, surprisingly enough, with that Hufflepuff guy Levi was friends with and she watched them quizzically for a second or two; Althea and Levi’s friends had a… well. Amusing. But not nearly interesting enough.
Noelle and her always present stash of licorice wands, however, were pretty interesting. A loud bang and a hiss was heard from the screens and even if Daisy didn’t check to see if it had come from Levi’s, as she walked towards the two Gryffindor girls, she reminded herself of his promise; if there was one thing Levi Kenning was exceptional at was doing his best to uphold his promises. “Let’s hope he remembers all of that.” Having reached Noelle and Ava just in time to hear the Prefect’s words on the Runespoor, Daisy sat down next to her and shrugged stiffly. “And I bet they’re still venomous. They made them face Dementors, remember?” She smiled, rather ruefully, at both Gryffindor girls before turning back to the screen. “Seems like they’re meant to risk a whole lot in order to get a scholarship.”
