The salty peanuts that the Groundsdude had provided for the Gryffindor seemed to turn to saw dust as she watched the screens. Her mouth went dry and she clenched her hands again. A bloody RUNESPOOR?! Highly venomous three headed monster snakes and some kids in an African rainforest...
Did they really think that ANY of these kids were equipped to fight this thing? Oh right, they would just say there was a Ministry employee nearby the whole time and no one was in danger... but she knew from personal experience that being there, doing those things, it sure as hell didn't feel like no one was in danger. Least of all the person being attacked.
Alas... she knew the outcome would be that no one was injured. She could think that now that she was on this side of things, anyway. But like... it all looked scary dangerous and like... a bad look. It was a bad look. She sure hoped no one DIED.
And how in Merlin's name was Brent moving along so well? And why did he keep using his socks for things? That was disgusting. Did HE KNOW how many germs were on a person's foot? Dis. Gusting.
ACK.
This was all too much.
And the people around her were talking and it was bothering her... and the loud cheers were inappropriate for such dire times. Why did no one get that? Reaching over she gripped the seat between herself and Baldvinnson. Did he see how tense she was? "Do you... have any water or anything, sir?" She knew that HE knew that she would NOT purchase water from the concession thing. Never knew who was tampering with things.
