She saw her housemates with the other Ilvermorny champions and waved to the group. "Hey, guys!" she greeted them. Was she allowed to join them? She was a little shy around the older students, especially the champions. She waved hello to the other people as her eyes scanned the crowd. Hi, Headmistresses! Hi, professors! Hi, Hogwarts people! Now where were her friends?
She spotted a familiar face and went to join the nice Hogwarts girl from the paintball game (Kitty). "Hi, Kitty!" she said with a friendly smile. "Can I join you?"
She was just thinking to herself how lucky it was that so far this task looked easier than the most recent one. Maybe that was an illusion, but so far the jungle setting with a giant streeler slowly trailing across the jungle and some Fwoopers singing in the distance made her feel more peaceful watching it than the tundra had. Hopefully the champions felt the same. She was rooting for them all, and really didn't want to see any of them get hurt.
Just then she was pleasantly distracted by an Ilvermorny student who she'd played paintball with asking to sit with her. Kitty beamed at the girl and indicated the seat next to her.
"Ooh hi Emma! Please join me!" Watching this would be much better with someone else.
'I love your outfit, by the way," the Goth said honestly.
"They're all so brave, aren't they?" she said as they watched the champions on screen.
