Aurora had put a lot of thought into her outfit today - much more so than usual, which was saying something. Admittedly, she was Team-Anybody-BUT-Valerie. There was no real way to express that via fashion, though. The only way TO express it was to hold up a sign expressing her distaste for the Wampus, but then again, she was PRETTTYYYY sure everyone knew about that after the last challenge.
She should be embarrassed, or remorseful - but she really wasn't. She had debated crying and making a scene and apologizing to try and save face, but then it dawned on her that she wasn't sorry at all. She had been getting nasty looks from the girl since the moment she had stepped foot in Ilvermorny, and she refused to get treated with disrespect when she had done nothing to deserve it. If she had DONE something to her she totally would have understood. Aurora Chae didn't stab anyone in the back - she just grabbed their hair and pulled them backwards because they were beating her at something. She had never done that to Valerie, or anyone from that infuriating clique before. So yeah, no, she was not apologizing any time soon. Or cheering for her, obviously.
Plus, she had been locked up in her dorm almost every Friday night for the past month, crying her eyes out and ripping up old pillowcases in rage to help her get over the fact that SHE. HAD. LOST.
She had moved on wayyyy past anger and disappointment to the point of...acceptance maybe? She was a bit more concerned about her emotional breakdown, to be honest, but she was ignoring that until next year. So she hadn't really gotten to acceptance. She was in denial - not about the competition, but about her brain.
After much thought and consideration, she had decided to wear her Horned Serpent long sleeve t-shirt - it was cool and breezy for a May day, which made this perfect attire. She had done her hair in two braids and done her makeup up all cute, and even made a SIGN and everything. When it came down to it, she couldn't turn her back on her school - or her house. "GO KYLE! YOU GOT THIS!" she exclaimed, waving the sign in the air.
Now, where were Jeremy and Irene? She needed some help cheering here...OH, there was Irene! She grinned and hopped up to her best friend. "Check out the sign," she told her with a grin, showing off her glittery painting skills.
Sure, she might have lost, but...she was the best glitter painter around, at least.
