Hogwarts RPG Name: Sydney M. L. Masters Slytherin Sixth Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Maddox B. Buchanan Gryffindor Seventh Year | We've been here all along! ;) Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ ❄ Showtunes > Everything ❄ ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Despite a long line at the concession stand and taking a while to decide what he wanted Gaston had somehow managed to arrive on time. The professor was full of Gryffindor pride, as evidenced by the scarf and the lion pin he wore. Both of his students were still in the competition, and another one of his Lions was doing the commentary. He beamed up at Miss Spinnet as he passed the commentators' box. They were in for some fun commentary this time around! And speaking of Gryffindor pride...
Gaston couldn't help but laugh a little as he saw Miss Kettleburn's face paint. "Hello, Miss Kettleburn," he said. "I like the face paint; it's very festive." Before he could say more, a loud voice caused his head to whip around in Miss Valentine's direction. "That's the spirit, Miss Valentine!"he said with a smile.
He weaved through the stands, a coffee in one hand and a plate of pizza in the other, on the way to his seat. "Hello, Mr. Erikson, Mr. Bronwyn, Miss Toussaint," he greeted the students as he passed. Headmistress Hathorne's daughter (Ronnie) also got a hello from him, as did the other Ilvermorny students (Samara, Madelyn, and Benji). Yes, even the rude one (Jeremy) got a greeting, though Gaston wasn't holding out hope that the boy would react kindly this time around. He spotted one of the Ilvermorny professors (Duncan) and gave him a polite smile and nod in acknowledgement. "Hello, all," Gaston said as he joined his colleagues. He smiled at Rosalyn as he sat beside her, but his eyes didn't linger on her for long. He was too distracted by the challenge unfolding on the split screens. Come on, Dora! Great job, Levi! he thought as he watched. You've got this, Brent! He wanted his students to dominate this round! They couldn't afford to lose any more Hogwarts competitors! But his enthusiasm abruptly vanished upon seeing the people freezing in cages.
All he could do was stare at the screens in horror. Those poor kids! He couldn't even being to imagine what he'd do in their place, if it had been his family or friend or - Merlin forbid! - the love of his life in one of those cages.
He instinctively glanced back at Rosalyn to make sure she was still safe and sound. This had gone too far! There were some lines you just don't cross, and putting those kids through this kind of emotional trauma for a competition was one of them! "Be right back," Gaston mumbled as he rose. "J-just going to get another coffee..." He was afraid he'd start crying with the students if he had to watch this much longer and retreated while he still maintained control over his emotions. Emma was glad the weather was starting to warm up. It was still cold by her standards, but at least it wasn't as cold as it had been - or as cold as it looked down there! She blinked confusedly as she looked at the frozen landscape on the screens. Man, she was glad she wasn't taking part in this challenge!
The blonde Thunderbird awkwardly shifted her cheeseburger and soda to one hand so she could wave at people as she made her way through the stands. Hi, Professor Williams! Hi, Hogwarts professors! Then she saw a group of her schoolmates (Samara, Jeremy, and Ronnie) "Hey, guys! What's up?" she said.
Ooh, and there was Kyle! Lots and lots of waves for her Hogwarts friend! "Hi, Kyle! Excited for the challenge?" she asked.
Emma carefully rearranged her things as she took a seat beside Madelyn. She pulled her Thunderbird flag and a couple of pom poms out of her bag. They weren't anything fancy, just some she'd made herself out of blue and cranberry colored paper. Still, they would work. She jumped up, waving her flag and one of the pom poms. "LET'S GO, ILVERMORNY!!!"
But she got quiet when she saw the people in the cages, and Benji suddenly voiced exactly what she was thinking. As she looked, she saw that he was really putting away the jelly slugs, like more so than usual. maybe he was eating because he was scared? "Hey, you okay?" she asked him.
Then her eyes went back to the screens. Surely they weren't in any real danger, right? She looked nervously at Madelyn. "You don't think they'd let them die, do you?"
