So, they were... going to dissect already? Whoaaa, whoa. Too quick. But well, Vivian decided it was best to get it done with. Debating with herself on whether or not she was going to use the scalpel, Vivian shrugged and took her wand. She could use non-magical stuff at home, so she was definitely taking advantage of being able to use magic. Besides, she had been practicing on her weak points in Charms, so the Slytherin was quite confident she wouldn't get this wrong.

Hmm... so, it looked like they were supposed to cut through the stomach? Was it even a stomach? And it looked human so... it probably was. But it was a plant, too, and they didn't have stomachs! Vivian's brain was processing and debating on too many things. Pushing her thoughts away, she looked at the picture and then down at her mandrake. It was dead, but she felt a little bad. "M'sorry." It probably wouldn't hurt. The blonde then made her first incision with a "Diffindo!" following the line that was presented.

Oh, and... what did they have in common with carrots? It never really crossed her mind, because the mandrake looked too human to even pass for a carrot... so this was a little funny for her. But she raised her hand to share. "They have the leaves thingy coming out of their heads, and they grow under the ground." Obviously. Vivian doubted the edible part of it, though. Mandrakes did NOT look enticing enough. Sorry.
