His romantic efforts had been pretty much exhausted over the past few weeks, in his opinion, and he was running out of key moves. How many moves could a guy have?

And on Valentine's Day? He should have faked a major disease. Dragonpox. Malaria. Something catching.

"In the corner? It's pretty private, and we won't get bothered by much traffic." He grabbed a chair and pulled it out for Madelyn. "After you."
