Writing? They came ALL the way here just to WRITE?! Derf couldn't help but hide his disappointment beneath a whoooooole bunch of blinking at the librarian. Honestly, this whole experience really WAS lost on him because he had not read the book and getting into this character's mindset was KINDA hard for a lot of reasons. Mainly that he believed in magic, obviously,
and it had nothing to do with his sense of wonder but everything to do with common sense. He was a WIZARD after all!

Still, the second year took his notebook and found a log to sit on while opening up to a blank page. But WHAT could he write, exactly? Actually...he was going to walk AND write. It helped keep his brain moving...even if it meant his writing would look more like troll scribbles than proper penmanship. Sorry, Mr. Librarian!

But I can't really get into Lucy's mindset because I don't really know her and was not prepared for things since I haven't read the book AND I don't feel too comfy assuming things she might think based on what little I got to understand of her from the book club discussion. So I HOPE it's okay if I think about this as a Derf rather than as a Lucy. I feel more comfortable that way. So anyway. Here I am walking around in snow wearing a coat that is waaaaaaaay too big for me that I am practically tripping over obviously slip of the quill ink SWOOSH as the second year did just that and tripped attempt to salvage himself by turning it into a whimsical doodle of icey wind Anyway not important. I am mostly curious what sort of creatures live here in "Narnia". We talked about someone named Tubnuts...or Temmis...uh...sorry I forgot what his name was already...but he is a FAUN and that is a creature I have no encountered before and am quite curious if he and I could get along as well as me and Thereos do. Honestly...walking around here right now makes me wish I HAD read the book before. So I think that is what I am gonna do once ~~we are dismissed~~ you just dismissed us so I am gonna go find a copy in the library to read! I hope you can tell me how you got this to work because this level of Illusion Charm is really NEAT and I would like to be able to do it myself. Like...Room of Requirement level neat!
