It had been a brief conversation with Kyle but she hoped that they could talk soon. It was nice speaking to a fellow competitor from home. She loved hanging out with the others but it was nice to converse with someone new. And Kyle was pretty COOL. She shot him one more smile before she glanced back at Isaiah. By Scamander's suitcase, he looked incredible. Irene felt her heart beating loudly and she wondered briefly if anyone could hear that. Here she was a champion, at Hogwarts, and at a ball with Isaiah Collado. Could things get any better?

At his bow, Irene smiled even more. What a gentleman! She returned his bow with a curtsy, feeling all the more like Cinderella at the ball. Tonight was a celebration. You look more beautiful than ever tonight. Did she really? She was just in this old dress but.... Heh. She smiled more. He certainly knew how to make her blush. "Thank you. You're making me blush," she laughed with a tinge of pink on her cheeks.
