She entered the room and scanned the crowd for her DATE...Jer had asked her to go, and since she had no better prospects at the time, she had agreed. The Hogwarts boys OBVIOUSLY were blind if they didn't see what an amazing opportunity this was. It was ok, though - Jer was a nice guy and she hadn't gotten around to flirting with him much this year, so why not?
She smiled and walked up to her date, tapping him coyly on the shoulder as she approached him.
"Hey handsome," she told him with a smirk to announce her arrival.
