That was his snake! HE FOUND IT! Finders keepers and all that jazz. Jumped for it and got his hand around it. Pulling it to him he cradled it like a baby, "I found him near the lake Professor and he was injured and now I'm taking care of him." Okay he wasn't injured, but he wasn't giving him up either. He tried to look super pathetic when he looked up at the professor. Big puppy eyes and just sad because he had to get the professor to feel sympathy that he was trying to save the snake.

Ciara was shocked at the nature of Mister Blaze's actions by pulling the snake away and back to him. Then the manner in which he was holding it. "You found him injured near the lake? Did you not take him to Professor Wayland?" She watched the Slytherin with the snake carefully. What were kids these days thinking? She hardly doubted that he had permission for the snake as pet.

She would wait for an explanation from him first before, deciding what to do with him and the snake. She was not buying just anything. Something was up, and the Slytherin boy seem to be up to no good by the looks of it. He was hiding with a snake in a broom closet.
